in the west village of georgetown the 3200, 3300 and 3400 blocks of O and P Streets NW are paved cobblestone with steel trolley tracks. last we heard P St would be paved in asphalt after the stones and steel removed and O St would remain as is. as i understand it, the folks on O St dont want it to become another zoom street to wisconsin avenue and the current materials have a calming effect without having speed humps. the debate continues.
