APPLE STORE DEBATE
problems continue for the proposed Apple store on wisconsin avenue located at the former Reed Electric site north of the exxon station and across from Q St. the problem is....parking. if apple opens at this location traffic will be gridlocked continually. there cannot be more than 20 parking spots available and how many of those will be for employees because georgetown has no metrorail? this store should be in at cityvista where there is plenty of below grade parking spots and a huge parking lot owned by the steuart family nearby.

gay marriage advocates dont like rick warren and claim obama is throwing them under the bus. obama is like the old southern white democrat senator who loved his negro people until they started protesting for more civil rights.
i have never received so many bottles of champaign, wine, bourbon, jack daniels and cookies from all the great cooks in georgetown. thanks to all the friends and family.
decor is being changed at the hotels for new years and eventually the innaugural festivities and mid-atlantic leather convention all taking place on MLK weekend here in town.

EARTHA KITT RIP
my older sister francesca just called from paris to inform me that eartha kitt just expired. if you believe in the modern christian faith then dying on christ's birthday is a joyous event. i'm just saying; dont know if she was of devout faith. she did a few songs that remind me of good times in PROVINCETOWN. at the time of this video was out we all had a big laugh because the boyfriend at the time smoked cigars.

MS BARBRA STREISAND
yesterday, barbra steisand and mr barbra steisand came strolling into the shop. fortunately for them the queen was taking appointments. they had lunch at cafe milano and she's really much tinier that she looks on TV. she got a twinkle in her eye when i mentioned meeting her late mother when she came through georgetown with barbra's sister 3 halloweens ago. we got a snapshot with her; they purchased an item and an assistant shipped it back to california. here's my favorite barbra steisand SONG; it's less than 2 minutes.
