when daughter did residency at georgetown hospital she lived in the apartment over the shop. so it was no surprise to see her mother every once in awhile and they'd both stop in and say hello.
well low and behold the black town car pulls up and who should enter the shop this afternoon but DIANA ROSS just to say hello. actually they were on their way to the embassy of france for tea. their visit created quite the buzz around 35th and O. later i found out she's being honored at the kennedy center tonight. mrs breyer stopped in later on and a bunch of others who shall remain nameless. :-) for now.
